Peri Peri Chicken Loaded Fries

Ingredients

  • 500 g french fries (frozen or homemade)
  • 500 g boneless chicken breast
  • Cooking oil, for coating the fries

Chicken Marinade

  • 5 tbsp First Batch Original Peri Peri Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Creamy Peri Peri Sauce

  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 5 tbsp First Batch Original Peri Peri Hot Sauce
  • 2 tbsp water

Toppings

  • 2 slices quick-melt cheese or mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp spring onion, sliced
  • First Batch Original Peri Peri Hot Sauce, to taste

Instructions


  1. Slice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, mix First Batch Original Peri Peri Hot Sauce, salt, black pepper, and cooking oil. Add the chicken and toss until evenly coated. Marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Toss the french fries with a small amount of cooking oil. Fry, bake, or air-fry until golden and crispy. Set aside.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked and lightly charred on the outside. Remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, First Batch Original Peri Peri Hot Sauce, and water. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Arrange the crispy fries on a serving plate. Top with the cooked peri peri chicken, then drizzle generously with the creamy peri peri sauce.
  6. Place the cheese slices on top and allow them to melt slightly from the heat. Sprinkle with chopped onion and spring onion. Add extra First Batch Original Peri Peri Hot Sauce according to your heat preference.
  7. Serve immediately while hot and cheesy.
